Narsingh B. Singh, Research Professor, Chemistry and Biochemistry and Computer Science and Electrical Engineering
Narsingh B. Singh researches novel multi-functional materials, an interdisciplinary topic that enables him to collaborate with colleagues from across UMBC. He has led multi-department grant submissions resulting in substantial awards from public and private sources. Singh’s extensive private sector experience enables him to give his students insights into scientific research and future employment opportunities in their fields. He earned his B.Sc. in chemistry, physics, and mathematics from T. D. Post Graduate College, Jaunpur, Gorakhpur University, India; and his M.Sc. in physical chemistry, solid-state; and his Ph.D. in solidification behavior of eutectics from Gorakhpur University, India.
