Jonathan Zwi encourages his students to think and ask questions—skills that will help them be successful in their academic endeavors and in life. He draws on his experience exploring multiple disciplines in the arts and humanities to help students practice these skills in a variety of settings. Zwi’s students appreciate his ability to make student voices central to the lesson and to help them feel confident in their own abilities. Zwi received his B.M. in classical guitar performance and B.A.s in cognitive science and philosophy from Indiana University-Bloomington, and his M.M.s in musicology and classical guitar performance and D.M.A. in classical guitar performance from the Peabody Institute.
