Donique J. Lewis, Executive Administrative Assistant II, College of Engineering and Information Technology (COEIT)
Donique J. Lewis is an engaged, dedicated, and cheerful team member who goes above and beyond to provide the best customer service and overall positive experience campus-wide. Donique has been with UMBC for 20 years. In 2019, she joined COEIT, where she triages phone calls, meeting requests, and visitors for the office. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she supported her colleagues virtually by maintaining deadlines while also providing mental encouragement by scheduling regular check-ins with the entire team. During the transition between COEIT deans, Donique went beyond her role to ensure the transition was as seamless as possible while continuing to provide quality service to the university. She accomplished these feats all while pursuing a B.S. degree from University of Maryland, University College in gerontology and aging services, where she also made the Dean’s List in the fall.
