Executive Administrative Assistant I, Academic Partnerships and High-Impact Experiences, Special Projects, and Family Programs
Maisha Cron started her journey with UMBC as a student. While taking courses at UMBC, Maisha grew to love the warmth and commitment to building community and decided to pursue a career within the institution. In 2014, she joined UMBC as an administrative professional in the Division of Student Affairs. The self-proclaimed introvert has spent the last decade helping to build this community by taking every opportunity to support campus partners with anything from Welcome Retriever initiatives to Mental Health First Aid Training. In addition to her role as an Executive Administrative Assistant, she serves as a member of both the DoSA Staff Development and Frontline Collective Committees. Whether testing inflatable baby suits for a concert or being part of the first UMBC Retriever Talks Cohort, Maisha uses these unique experiences to share with others the same warmth and commitment to building community she experienced as a UMBC student.
